POVA 8 Pro: the screen on the back.

We put a screen where nobody looks — the back.

The Alive Matrix is 177 mini-LEDs under the rear panel. It shows charge, timers, caller ID and a desk clock, then gets out of the way. Not a gimmick strip; a second, honest surface that tells you what the phone is doing without turning it over.

Up front, a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED at 144Hz, tuned with 2592Hz PWM dimming for long, real days of use. Sony LYTIA 700C 50MP with OIS on the back. A 6,500mAh cell with 45W wired charging and bypass charging for gaming, in an IP68/IP69K body that treats water and dust as non-events. POVA AI handles call recording, transcription and summaries across Indian languages.

POVA 8 Pro 5G is on Flipkart and retail from 21 August 2026 — ₹49,999 for 8GB/256GB and ₹54,999 for 12GB/512GB, in Tundra Green, Arc White and Graphite Black.
